'A Quiet Place II': An OK Sequel

Watched A Quiet Place 2 in the theatres today.

今天看了《寂静之地2》。

I thought it was pretty good! As a person who hasn't seen the original film, I got the gist of the universe pretty early on, so the film stands alone pretty well, and by that I mea you don’t have to have seen the first one to enjoy this one. I think the second one (I went and read the summary of the first film) has more dialogue, and I think the character development was better in the second one.

还是很好看的！作为没有看第一部的人，一下就能理解，对看过第一部没有很大的要求。而且第二部（我去看了第一部的简介）好像台词更多，人物发展就很好。

Of course, as a horror film, it needs more than story; it also needs atmosphere. The atmosphere of this film is pretty good, especially the actors themselves, they are the factor that made the film frightening. (Emily Blunt is seriously able to amaze me even though she had all of 10 lines! )

当然，作为一部恐怖片，不仅需要的是故事还需要氛围。这部电影的氛围是很不错的，特别是演员的演技，将整部电影渲染的超级恐怖。（Emily Blunt真的是在如此少的台词里都可以惊艳我的女人！）

There are still some places that I thought could’ve been better, like the aforementioned characterisation, I think it could’ve been more detailed, and the ending of the film felt a bit rushed, a little too fast-paced. Other than that, though, I think this is a pretty good horror film!

还有一些小小的不足，比如先前提及的人物刻画，其实可以更好更细致，而且整部电影的结局感觉有一点点仓促，发展的有点快。除此之外，我觉得还是一部很不错的恐怖电影！

Finally, I just want to say: there is no easter egg at the end! NO EASTER EGG! The theatre I was at lied and said there would be, so I sat and read through all the names at the end (even though I usually do that, just so I can become familiar with the amazing people who work behind the scenes) THERE IS NO EASTER EGG!

最后说一句：没有彩蛋！没有彩蛋！被骗看完了所有幕后人员的名字（虽然我通常也会看完这样可以认识更多厉害幕后工作的人）但是没有彩蛋！
